(“42Technology”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to safeguarding the privacy of individuals who engage with our digital platforms, campaigns, events, treasure hunts, and related services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal data, and the rights available to you under applicable law.
We are based in Singapore and comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Personal data collected by us is stored in Singapore unless otherwise specified.
Depending on the nature of the campaign or service, we may collect one or more of the following categories of personal data:
1.1 Registration Data: Name, email address, phone number, demographic information, T-shirt size, and delivery address.
1.2 Participation Data: Records of event participation, activity logs, progress tracking, leaderboard rankings, and achievement records.
1.3 Fitness and Wearable Data (where applicable): With your explicit consent, fitness and activity metrics (e.g., distance, pace, steps, GPS activity) shared through integrations with third-party providers such as Strava and Fitbit.
1.4 Treasure Hunt and Game Data: GPS location data, checkpoint interactions, puzzle/game submissions, scoring data, and information required for the administration of contests or lucky draws.
1.5 Transaction and Payment Data: Information necessary to process ticketing, purchases, and payments.
1.6 Technical Data: Device type, IP address, browser details, cookies, and platform usage logs.
Personal data may be used for the following purposes:
2.1 Administration of registration, participation, and delivery of campaign services.
2.2 Operation of campaign mechanics, including GPS validation, leaderboard updates, prize draws, and other gamification features.
2.3 Fulfilment of merchandise, rewards, prizes, and related logistics.
2.4 Payment processing, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.
2.5 Display of achievements, rankings, or badges to other participants or the public (where applicable).
2.6 Aggregated and anonymized analysis for service improvement, statistical reporting, and benchmarking.
2.7 Fraud prevention, security monitoring, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
We may disclose personal data only in the following circumstances:
3.1 Event and Business Partners: To facilitate event administration and reporting.
3.2 Service Providers: To logistics, delivery, IT, customer support, and payment processing providers engaged to perform services on our behalf.
3.3 Technology Providers: To third-party platforms or integrations (e.g., Strava, cloud hosting providers, and other vendors essential to event or platform operation).
3.4 Legal and Regulatory Authorities: Where disclosure is required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or lawful requests.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties.
4.1 Personal data is stored securely on servers located in Singapore.
4.2 We employ industry-standard safeguards, including encryption, access restrictions, and activity monitoring, to protect personal data against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
4.3 Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel with a need-to-know basis.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
5.1 Access the personal data we hold about you.
5.2 Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
5.3 Request deletion of personal data, subject to legal or contractual retention obligations.
5.4 Withdraw consent for data sharing with third-party integrations (e.g., Strava) at any time through their respective platforms.

6.1 Campaign-specific personal data (including registration, delivery, fitness, GPS, and game-related data) will generally be deleted within one (1) month following the completion of the campaign, or upon approval by the relevant event management partner, whichever is later.
6.2 SaaS platform account data will be retained until the user requests deletion or the account is otherwise terminated.
6.3 Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for statistical, analytical, and reporting purposes beyond the retention period.
This Privacy Policy is governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of Singapore.
