Since 2024, the Carry Hope initiative by the Rare Disorders Society (Singapore) (RDSS) has leveraged a specialized digital ecosystem to drive its national awareness and fundraising mission. The campaign empowers the public to "Carry Hope" for the rare disorder community, turning physical movement into a powerful statement of solidarity.
A key highlight of this project is the native integration with the Deeda payment gateway. By embedding the payment process directly into the registration flow, the platform eliminates the need for external redirects, providing a truly seamless user experience (UX). This frictionless approach minimizes drop-offs during the sign-up and donation phases, ensuring that supporter intent is converted into immediate impact for RDSS.
Beyond payments, the infrastructure supports a unified virtual activity tracker and a live community leaderboard. Participants can log their distances across various categories, with all data feeding into a real-time visualization of the collective "hope" being carried across Singapore. This integration of fintech and fitness tracking demonstrates how a sophisticated digital front-end can elevate a community-driven cause into a high-performance awareness engine.
